FOR INTERNATIONAL BRANDS

Your next market.
A local perspective.

Bring your brand to Japan with a clearer plan.

Japan market-entry and e-commerce consulting, grounded in the day-to-day experience of running our own healthcare brands.

Discuss your Japan plans

A PRACTICAL STARTING POINT

A launch involves
more than translation.

Your positioning, product information, sales channels and operating workflow all need to work together. We help you turn those questions into a practical plan for Japan.

Our focus is healthcare and consumer brands, especially businesses exploring Japanese e-commerce for skincare, beauty, supplements and related products.

Whether you are considering a first launch or reviewing an existing local presence, we start with your product category, current setup and commercial priorities.

HOW WE CAN HELP

Make the next step concrete.

01 / PLAN

Positioning & route to market

Clarify your target customer, product story and channel priorities. Compare a brand-owned store with marketplace options in the context of your goals and resources.

Possible output: a prioritized Japan launch roadmap.

02 / LOCALIZE

Japanese content & creative

Adapt product pages, landing pages and advertising content for Japanese customers. Shape messages around product information, readability and the local purchase journey.

Possible output: Japanese copy, page structure and creative assets.

03 / LAUNCH

E-commerce setup & operations

Plan storefront and marketplace work for Shopify, Amazon Japan, Rakuten Ichiba and Yahoo! Shopping. Identify the tasks, account requirements and team responsibilities before implementation.

Possible output: a channel-specific implementation and operating plan.

04 / LEARN

Marketing & ongoing improvement

Review traffic, conversion and average order value, then prioritize improvements to pages, advertising and customer communication. Explore AI-assisted workflows for recurring tasks.

Possible output: a focused improvement plan and reporting workflow.

These are examples of potential project outputs. Scope, deliverables and fees are agreed for each engagement.

WHY WOW MEDICAL

A brand owner’s view
of your business.

We operate in the market ourselves.

Our own brands bring together product planning, Japanese e-commerce, promotion and customer support. We use that experience to frame practical decisions.

Healthcare is our starting point.

Our founder is a pharmacist with experience in product development and marketing. We approach product communication with attention to the category and the information behind each claim.

Strategy connects to the actual work.

We can discuss both the commercial direction and the pages, content and operating tasks needed to put it into practice.

BEFORE WE START

A few useful answers.

Do we need to be ready to launch?

No. An early-stage project can focus on positioning, channel choices and the questions to resolve before launch. Share your current stage in your inquiry.

Which channels can we discuss?

Shopify and Japanese marketplaces including Amazon Japan, Rakuten Ichiba and Yahoo! Shopping. Platform eligibility and account requirements need to be checked for your business.

Does this include regulatory or import services?

This page describes market-entry and e-commerce consulting. Regulatory applications, product approvals, importer-of-record services, legal representation and tax advice are not included in the listed scope. Any specialist requirements need to be identified separately.

Can you guarantee sales or platform approval?

No. Commercial results and platform decisions depend on many factors. We agree the work and deliverables with you, without guaranteeing sales or account approval.

How do we send an inquiry?

Use our English inquiry form on the contact page. No furigana is needed, and the phone number is optional. We will review the project details and whether we can assist.

TEST SALES & ALLIANCES

Test Japan through
our existing sales channels.

Start with a focused pilot before planning a wider rollout.

Marketplace sales through WOW MEDICAL

We can discuss selling your products through our existing operations on Amazon Japan, Rakuten Ichiba and other Japanese marketplaces. Product eligibility, listing requirements and the sales arrangement are reviewed individually.

A pilot designed to limit upfront costs

Using our existing storefronts and operating setup, we can design a small-scale sales test aimed at keeping initial setup costs down. We agree the products, quantities, test period, budget and measures of customer response before starting.

An established store with customer feedback

Our Rakuten store, Beauty & Health Specialty Store WOW MEDICAL, has a shop-review rating of 4.86 from 1,725 reviews.

Checked November 3, 2026. This is the store rating, not a rating of a partner’s products. Ratings and review counts change.

Alliance partnerships are welcome

We also welcome discussions about alliances for test sales, distribution and marketing. The commercial structure, responsibilities, inventory arrangements, fees and timing are agreed for each project.

Costs depend on the product category and project scope. Required regulatory and import arrangements must be confirmed before sale. Sales results and platform approval are not guaranteed.
